2018-2019
- In keeping with the graphics updates across the whole of F1’s broadcast package for 2018, the Driver Tracker got another new look.
- From 2019, the Driver Tracker was made available to F1 TV subscribers for the first time
2015-2017
- In line with changes across the whole of F1’s graphics package for 2015, the Driver Tracker was given a new look, with further tweaks by 2017
2014
- In line with changes to the rest of the graphics package for 2014, the Driver Tracker was modified with the addition of the driver’s race number (now that drivers had the same number throughout their career)
2012-2013
- From 2012, FOM made the Driver Tracker available for more broadcasters to show (such as Sky Sports in the UK), and gave it a graphical refresh more in line with the existing World Feed graphics package, with a fancier appearance.
2010-2011
- At the 2010 British Grand Prix, FOM launched a Driver Tracker Channel, showing a map of the circuit, with the drivers positions on the track.
- This was originally launched in partnership with the BBC, and was exclusively streamed online by the BBC in 2010 and 2011
- Curiously, for 2010 at least, the feed was produced in 4:3, despite the majority of FOM’s output having switched to widescreen by 2007.
